The reason for my passion for events …..
I started my event management career at the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce in 1999. This is where my interest in event planning began!
In 2006 I landed the job as Executive Director of the award winning Fayetteville Dogwood Festival The organization produced 7 events per year that include:
Signature Spring event held in April - 250,000+ attendees
Fayetteville After 5 - FREE spring and summer concert series - 2,000 - 8,000 attendees per event
Dogwood Fall Festival - 50,000+ attendees
Miss Fayetteville Dogwood Festival - 4 queens crowned each April - Fayetteville's largest pageant
Since 2018 I have lived in North Myrtle Beach and worked as Development Director for McLeod Health producing fundraising events and expanding donor relations for our community hospital.
In March of 2022 I decided that I wanted to leave the corporate world and pursue my passion for event production and project management. I am looking forward to expanding my portfolio of events in my "new" community.
Thus far I’ve collaborated on the following projects in Horry County:
Event manager for a local county Commissioner campaign hosting 25 events over a three-month period.
Event coordinator and sponsorship sales for Rumble in the Jungle - a King Mackerel fishing tournament.
Currently serving as President of the Board of Directors for the Little River Chamber of Commerce which oversees 2 community events – The Blue Crab Festival and The Shrimp Festival.
Catered several HOA Annual meetings and events.
As you can see ... I've been THE Go To Girl in my local communities and I am eager to help those that need my services.
